Tanya Shaw Steinhofer

CFA, CFP®, Principal

Tanya is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with over 20 years of diverse investment industry experience, including expertise in real assets and sustainable/impact/ESG (environmental/social/governance) investing. She is passionate about helping women and families with young children with their finances.

Her prior experience includes several years as a Senior Research Analyst and Investment Advisor at a local independent wealth management firm. She began her investment career as an equity research analyst covering real estate investment trusts (REITs), first on the sell-side for Goldman Sachs in New York and then on the buy-side for a dedicated REIT money manager.

In addition to her professional experience, she is an active non-profit volunteer, with an emphasis on financial literacy for non-profits such as Junior Achievement and local schools. She is currently on the Programs Committee of the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco. Previously, she served on the advisory boards of the Bay Area Financial Education Foundation, whose mission is to improve the financial literacy of Bay Area youth, and Money Quotient, whose mission is to facilitate the exploration and implementation of a values-based, life-centered approach to financial planning. She is a Past President of the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco. In recognition of her contributions to the profession and community, she was awarded the 2017 Heart of Financial Planning by the Financial Planning Association. Her education includes both a BA and an MBA from UC Berkeley. Her passions outside of work and family include running, cycling, skiing, gardening and traveling.

Daniel Tripp

CFP®, Financial Planner

Daniel Tripp, Financial Planner, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with six years of industry experience. His expertise includes comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, equity compensation, and tax analysis. Dan is passionate about helping clients organize their financial lives while also helping them align their money with their values.

His education includes a BA in Political Science from the State University of Albany, an MS in Advanced Financial Planning with a Concentration in Tax from Golden Gate University, and a Graduate Certificate in Life Planning.

He is also an Air Force Veteran, having served 12 years as an Intelligence Officer.

Dan lives in Petaluma, CA, with his wife, Caitlyn, their children, Adelyn and Owen, and their dog, Macy. They love being outdoors and exploring the Bay Area. As avid travelers, they enjoy discovering new destinations and visiting friends and family across the country.

Jill Jackson

Client Service Manager

Jill is the Client Service Manager for Redwood Grove Wealth Management with over 20 years of experience in client relationship management. She is passionate about helping families and individuals work towards and achieve their financial goals. She particularly enjoys helping families with late-stage college planning. She continually strives to provide thoughtful, personalized support and encouragement to every client.

Jill spent a number of years in the real estate field, as both an Agent and Marketing Manager in California, and as a Broker in Oregon. While living in Portland she co-founded the Lake Oswego Business Group to help foster support and collaboration in her professional community. After returning to California, she joined Comcast Corporate as a Business Account Executive, serving the needs of large property owners and negotiating long-term contracts.

Jill has a BA in Psychology, with a minor in Education, from UC Berkeley.

In addition to her work with Redwood Grove, she enjoys volunteering and coaching youth volleyball. She cherishes time spent with her family and friends, hiking, traveling, cycling, and embarking on new adventures.
